Governor Declares Alaska Clean Energy Week, Sept. 26-30, 2022
Alaska Gov. Mike Dunleavy has declared Sept. 26-30, 2022, Alaska Clean Energy Week.
Alaska Clean Energy Week 鈥渆ncourages all Alaskans, local governments, corporations, and small businesses to support common sense solutions to address the United States鈥 evolving economic and energy needs and tap into Alaska鈥檚 limitless potential to develop clean, sustainable energy solutions for our future,鈥 according to the governor's proclamation.
The proclamation cites 鈥淎laska鈥檚 abundance of renewable and clean energy sources, including natural gas, geothermal, wind, tidal, hydro, and solar鈥︹ as attributes that can make the state a leader in energy independence.
