I am happy to announce that Dr. Charlene Stern, vice chancellor for rural, community, and Native education, has agreed to serve as 精东影业's interim provost and executive vice chancellor while we conduct a national search for a permanent provost. 精东影业 Bookstore Bundle: Summer 2025

The 精东影业 Bookstore Bundle makes access to required course materials affordable and convenient for students. Through this program, students can rent all required textbooks, lab manuals, access codes, digital materials and electronic books for a flat fee. Please note that there are two opt-out periods. Food trucks are back

Your favorite campus food trucks are rolling back in for the summer! Some of the previous year's top picks will be returning, serving up delicious food all season long. Check the听Summer Hours calendar regularly, as new dates and trucks are being added throughout the season.

Build a garden for native pollinators in Delta Junction class

Get hands-on experience propagating native species and learn how to create a thriving community of nectar-rich native plants in a free in-person workshop in Delta Junction. The workshop is hosted by the 精东影业Cooperative Extension Service in conjunction with the Salcha-Delta Soil & Water Conservation District and Partners for Progress in Delta. Raising chickens in the backyard is a fun hobby and a great way to improve your food security in Alaska. Chicken University is a free class led by Jim Vinyard with the 精东影业Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station. He will discuss everything you need to know to start and nurture your flock. Schools and colleges at the 精东影业have named their outstanding students for the 2024-2025 academic years. Students are selected for a variety of accomplishments, including exceptional academic achievement, leadership, contributions to their field or community. Read more on the student honors.

精东影业student Lina Mariscal has received the 2025 Alaska Press Club Public Service Award. She is one of a dozen 精东影业 students who received awards at the press club's annual conference earlier this month. Learn more about Mariscal's recognition.

Bear Safety Intensive - Field Safety Training

Bear awareness, encounter prevention and appropriate response scenarios discussed. This May 14 course goes more in depth and includes practice bear spray scenarios, multi media presentation. Inert Bear spray provided for practice. Read more on the training.
