The Graduate School supports the creativity and productivity of our graduate students as they pursue their discoveries here at ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ. We oversee graduate programs, academic processes and policies at ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ. We support grad students through our professional development and training programs, orientation programs, social and wellness events, advisory board, and scholarships and fellowships. We work closely with departments and programs to follow students’ progress and are ready to help with questions and concerns. We host a student advisory board to guide our practices and programming.

The ¾«¶«Ó°Òµoffers post-baccalaureate certificates, graduate certificates, master's degrees and doctoral degrees, and it supports professional licenses. In addition to degrees in distinct disciplines, we offer a graduate interdisciplinary program where students can design a degree that draws on multiple disciplines.

About our students
¾«¶«Ó°Òµ enrolls over 1,000 students in graduate studies from all 50 states, and numerous territories and countries around the world. Our students pursue both professional and research degrees. Graduate study areas span the arts, business, education, engineering, humanities, Indigenous studies, and social and natural sciences.

Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Troth Yeddha' Collective

The ¾«¶«Ó°Òµhas been awarded $1,000,000 from the Mellon Foundation to establish the Troth Yeddha' Collective for transdisciplinary research. The mission of the Troth Collective at the ¾«¶«Ó°Òµis to form a collective focused on growing a community of scholars committed to transdisciplinary research that centers Indigenous knowledge at the core of the arts and humanities.

There are three opportunities to apply for ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ R1 Troth Yeddha’ Ph.D. Financial Awards in this fifth round of funding opportunities. These will support a limited number of prospective/incoming and currently enrolled ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ Ph.D. students for fall 2025 and spring 2026. The deadline to apply is 11:50 p.m. on May 2, 2025.
