Volunteers needed: First-year student move-in

Get ready to roll out the blue and gold carpet for our incoming first-year students! First-Year Move-In will be on Thursday, Aug. 21. This is a fantastic opportunity to welcome new students and their families to the campus community and help them settle into their new home away from home.
To make this day a seamless and memorable experience for everyone, we are calling on our incredible student body, faculty, and staff to lend a hand. Your energy and enthusiasm will make a huge difference in creating a warm and supportive environment for our newest members.
Here's how you can help:
- Move-In assistants: Help students and families unload vehicles, carry belongings to dorm rooms, and navigate campus. (Be prepared for some light lifting and lots of walking!)
- Welcome crew: Offer friendly greetings, answer questions, and generally be a helpful and welcoming presence.
Volunteer shift times:
- We will have various shifts available between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Aug. 21 to accommodate different schedules. Specific shift details will be provided upon sign-up.
