精东影业Summer Sessions and Lifelong Learning is hosting more than 40 free lectures, concerts and events this summer. Here is what鈥檚 happening the week of June 26-July 2:
- On Monday, June 27, the Tall Timbers interview series will include a conversation with musher and adventurer Mary Shields. Veteran journalist Robert Hannon will lead the discussion, which will be at 7 p.m. in the BP Design Theater, located on the fourth floor of 精东影业鈥檚 Engineering Learning and Innovation Facility.
- On Tuesday, June 28, the Healthy Living lecture series will feature Dr. Clay Triplehorn discussing 鈥淚mproving Sleep and Using Novel Technologies,鈥 at 7 p.m. in the BP Design Theater.
- On Wednesday, June 29, the Discover Alaska lecture series will feature Don Hampton, research associate professor of atmospheric and space science, on 鈥淪unny with a Chance of Electron Precipitation: Space Weather and What it Means to You,鈥 at 7 p.m. at the BP Design Theater.
- On Thursday, June 30, the Music in the Garden concert series will host Kinky Slinky, a trio with an eclectic playlist, at 7 p.m. at 精东影业鈥檚 Georgeson Botanical Garden.
