Who is My Academic Advisor?

Start your academic journey at ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ with personalized support from a peer Enrollment Coach before you meet with your academic advisor. Enrollment Coaches will guide you through your pre-advising requirements and introduce you to your Academic Advisor — so that you’re confident and prepared to build an academic plan tailored to work for you.

What is an Enrollment Coach?

An Enrollment Coach is an experienced current ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ student on the advising team who’ll assist you with pre-advising requirements like:

  • Claiming your UA student credentials
  • Explaining official transcript requirements
  • Completing required placements in writing and math
  • Connecting you to specific specialized student resources at ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ

By working with your Enrollment Coach, you’ll be prepared to talk about registration and classes that will count toward your degree when it’s time to meet your academic advisor. You and your advisor will work together to design a course plan and access tools and resources for your success.
